Texas Christmas Family Massacre: Islamic Honor Killing (Via Jihad Watch)
Aziz Yazdanpanah, a Muslim, didn’t like his daughter’s non-Muslim boyfriend and was exhibiting stalker behavior. “She couldn’t date at all until she was a certain age, but when he was going to let her date she couldn’t date anyone outside of their race or religion.”
Again and again we have seen honor killings in which fathers kill daughters who are dating non-Muslims or have supposedly besmirched the family honor by some sexual indiscretion. Lt. Todd Dearing says that motive isn’t important — which is generally only the case when Islam is involved.
“Neighbors horrified at news of family’s slayings in Grapevine,” by Gloria Salinas and Scott Goldstein for the Dallas Morning News, December 26 (thanks to Steve):
GRAPEVINE — Aziz Yazdanpanah seemed to be losing control of his life in recent months — his wife left him, his house was in foreclosure, and his 19-year-old daughter was dating a young man he didn’t like.Even so, the 58-year-old former real estate agent from Colleyville seemed to be holding it together. Neighbors say he would smile and wave as he drove through his middle-class neighborhood. Recently, he was seen raking leaves in his yard.
“He was very friendly, a very good neighbor,” said Carrie Stewart, who lives across the street. “He was out here often doing yard work and he even watched our house for us when we went to Colorado.”
A decent fellow indeed.
Yazdanpanah, a volunteer high school debate coach described as a doting father, is the focus of suspicion a day after a Christmas morning massacre in which a man dressed as Santa Claus killed six relatives and then committed suicide.Grapevine police arrived at the Lincoln Vineyard Apartment Homes a few minutes before noon and discovered bodies sprawled among opened presents and wrapping paper. The victims were ages 15 to 58….
Citing public records and interviews with friends and neighbors, media reports Monday identified Yazdanpanah and others who had died: his estranged 55-year-old wife, Fatemeh Rahmati, their 19-year-old daughter, Nona Narges Yazdanpanah, and 15-year-old son, Ali Yazdanpanah.
Friends of the family said Fatemeh Rahmati’s 58-year-old sister, Zohreh Rahmaty, and her husband, Hossein Zarei, 59, and daughter Sahra Zarei, a 22-year-old pre-med student at the University of Texas at Arlington, also were killed.
Grapevine police Lt. Todd Dearing said investigators were working to piece together a timeline of the murders, but they may never know exactly what set off the gunman.
“Motive is not really the primary point right now,” Dearing said. “It’s more along the lines of what happened, how it transpired and making sure that who we believe to be the shooter is the shooter. Motive is what comes afterward for us if we can get it.”
He said a neighbor at the apartment complex saw the suspected shooter get out of his white sport utility vehicle dressed in a Santa outfit, including a full coat, pants, boots and belt. Based in part on that witness account, police believe the shootings occurred about the time a 911 call rang into the station at 11:34 a.m. Sunday.
The line was silent….
Grapevine police also searched the Colleyville home where Aziz Yazdanpanah had been living since he separated from his wife last spring. Public records show that the couple had filed for bankruptcy in 2010 and that the property was in foreclosure….
Yazdanpanah said he bought a gun after expressing concern that his daughter’s boyfriend was stalking him. He also insisted on picking up his daughter from her job at a phone kiosk inside Sam’s Club in Grapevine because of concerns about the alleged stalker.
The boyfriend has not been publicly identified.
Neighbors said the family was Muslim but had always hung Christmas lights on their home — except this year.
Terri Baum, who lives three homes down from Yazdanpanah, said she had seen him around the neighborhood in the last couple of weeks.
“They were pretty quiet, but kind, very kind,” Baum said. “They were sweet, good parents, and they loved their kids very much.”
Baum’s daughter, Allison, attended Colleyville Heritage High School with Nona, where the girls were part of an academic team focused on developing business leaders. They graduated together in May.
“Allison would take her to school from here, and then when they moved out she would pick her up from the apartments,” Baum said. “It’s unbelievable because of the people we knew them to be, and their children were good kids, very focused.”
Baum said she was horrified at the possibility the killings had been a murder-suicide.
“All I want to say is, it is so unbelievably shocking because they loved their kids,” Baum said.
Yes, loved them to death.
But a more ominous portrait emerged of Yazdanpanah in interviews with some of his daughter’s other classmates.“She would come to school crying and telling us her dad was crazy,” said Lacie Reed, 18. “He wouldn’t let her wear certain things. He was always taking her phone away, checking her call history and checking her text messages.”
Friends said Nona’s father had installed cameras all around the home so he could watch the family’s comings and goings. Others said he nailed her bedroom window shut so she could not sneak out at night and see her boyfriend.
“She couldn’t date at all until she was a certain age, but when he was going to let her date she couldn’t date anyone outside of their race or religion,” Reed said.
Yiselle Alvarenga, 18, said Nona’s mother and brother seemed to come to her aid when her father punished her.
“He would take her phone away and her mother would give it back to her and her brother would let her use his phone,” Alvarenga said. “She was doing good. She was just excited that her life was going to start and she was going to have control of it.”…

Texas Gov Rick Perry Declares His Candidacy For President Of The United States
Just as I predicted in my July 24th post, Texas Governor Rick Perry made his announcement today that he is in the race for the presidency. Ok, so I was off by a few hours.
“I full well believe I’m going to win,” Perry told South Carolina voters on a conference call about an hour before he kicked off the campaign with a speech in Charleston.
Now that Perry is in the race, lets see who the top three contenders will be. I’m guessing that Perry will be the front runner followed by Romney and Bachman. I’m afraid my pick, Herman Cain may be in trouble now that Perry is in.
This election just got very, very interesting. Now we can watch the Obamamedia begin their attack on Perry by merging him with the Tea Party folks, as if that’s a bad thing. Hell, what else can they do? His economic record in Texas speaks for itself. If the only negative thing the Obamamedia can connect Rick Perry with is the Tea Party, then Perry may become our next president.
As far as the straw poll goes, yes he probably pissed off some Republicans by taking the limelight off of Ames Iowa, but does it really matter? I think it was a good move on Perry’s part, although I thought he would wait until after the poll results came out to keep some of the heat off him from the Republicans.
Perry is expected to visit Iowa on Sunday, probably to mend some fences after today’s announcement. One thing is for sure, this race just got real interesting. – John Roycroft

Mexico Now Has A Lower Unemployment Rate Than The United States
Wonderful news if you live in California and are sick of the criminal Mexican Invaders stealing your jobs away.
Mexico’s unemployment rate is now at 4.9 percent, compared with 9.4 percent joblessness in the United States. Thanks for this go straight to our wonderful Community Organizer Barrack Obama.
Wednesday the Mexican consul general, Carlos González Gutiérrez, said, “It’s now easier to buy homes on credit, find a job and access higher education in Mexico, we have become a middle-class country.”
Another reason is because of the American animosity towards the illegals here. We are just sick and tired of our country being hi-jacked by criminal invaders. We are finally making it harder for them to get medical and government assistance without legal documentation.
Maybe the time has come that we Americans should seek employment in Mexico. Hell, we could have the best of both worlds – Free American government benefits, healthcare and a Mexican job. – John Roycroft
TSA Agent Gets Groped By Passenger
Well it’s about damn time we got a story like this one. I don’t have all of the facts yet, and maybe I’m being just a little bit presumptuous with this story, but if this is true, it might be a sign that TSA is getting it’s just deserves.
Apparently this 61 year old lady decided she was going to be the one to introduce passenger groping to a TSA agent. I love it. Finally someone gives the TSA a taste of it’s own assault tactics. Unfortunately though, this lady will have some explaining to do in front of a judge. Hopefully the judge will have some leniency on this woman and not punish her with the sexual assault charge.
Sure, she should have kept her hands to herself, but aren’t you just a little bit satisfied that someone finally gave it to the TSA for a change?
Yukari Mihamae, 61, is seen in this undated booking photo in Phoenix provided by the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities say the Colorado woman who allegedly groped a female Transportation Security Administration agent at Phoenix’s international airport on Thursday, July 14, 2011 is facing a felony count of sexual abuse. Texas Governor Rick Perry Preps For A Run For The Presidency
June 20, 2011 - Texas Governor Rick Perry performed like a rock star at the Republican Leadership Conference in New Orleans on Saturday. There’s a lot people out there who believe that he would be ranked near the top of the field if he decides to enter the Republican contest. If Perry joins the race, and I believe he will, he and Herman Cain will lead the pack in passion and personality.
Governor Perry is in his eleventh year as Governor of Texas.
The nation’s CEOs rank Texas as the Number One state in which to do business.
Here’s something else to ponder over – It’s numbers relating to private sector job creation in the U.S. as compared to Texas. That’s the one thing that is really important right now. Our long-term unemployment picture under the Community Organizer is worse than it was during the Great Depression.
Private sector job creation over the last year, comparing Texas to the rest of the nation:
Jobs created in Texas – 265,000
Jobs created in the other 49 states – 266,000
Imagine if Obama turned out those kind of numbers… Yea, I know, it’s not something that can be imagined.
Memo To Newt Gingrich – “The Fat Lady Has Sung!”
The party is over for Newt. By now everyone knows about his entire team quitting. Newt says it isn’t over, but we know it is. By the way, this crap about Newt’s wife being the cause of his team jumping ship – I think his team left because of disagreements on how to run his campaign. At least that’s what the local scoop here in Atlanta is. His wife was known to be outspoken but not to the extent that she totally controlled the campaign. Newt is married to a strong, supportive woman, and I admire him for sticking by Callista’s side. If Texas Governor Rick Perry decides to jump into the race, expect some of Newt Gingrich’s former team to join forces with him.
Mean while, Herman Cain remains a top contender and continues to gain national support despite the nay sayers out there. I still maintain that Herman Cain is going to be the man to beat in 2012. He just needs to stay focused and stick to the issues. It wouldn’t hurt if he could get a boost in financial support.
Then we have Mitt Romney putting the death nail in his support with his global warming bs. Just what we need, a Republican spreading more global warming crap when it has been proven over and over again that it was a complete lie all along.
Politics, you gotta love it!
Evidence That Suicide Bombers Are In The US – Book On Suicide Bombing Found On Arizona Border
January 31. 2011 – If you seriously believe that Islamic terrorists are not crossing our borders, then you are in denial. Thanks to Obama, our borders continue to be the easiest entry point for terrorists.
On November 18, 2010, Texas lawmakers delivered a letter to the White House, signed by 18 of Texas’ 20 Republican congressmen. The letter reads: “We are aware of your plan to end the National Guard deployment in Texas, fewer than six months after the beginning of operations, and we strongly object to this action. Until the border is secured, this course of action seriously jeopardizes our national security and unnecessarily puts Americans at risk.”
Arizona law enforcement reports that a book celebrating suicide bombers has been found in the Arizona desert just north of the U.S.- Mexican border.
The book titled, “In Memory of Our Martyrs,” was found Tuesday by a U.S. Border Patrol agent who was patrolling a route known for smuggling illegal immigrants and drugs.
According to authorities, “The book also includes letters from suicide attackers to their families, as well as some of their last wills and testaments.” Each biographical page has “the terrorist’s name, date of death, and how they died.”
In a statement issued by the Department of Homeland Security an official said, “At this time, DHS does not have any credible information on terrorist groups operating along the Southwest border. “We work closely with our partners in the law enforcement and intelligence communities and as a matter of due diligence and law enforcement best practice, report anything found, no matter how significant or insignificant it may seem.”
FBI Director Mueller, testified before the House Appropriations Committee in March 2005 that, “there are individuals from countries with known Al Qaeda connections who are changing their Islamic surnames to Hispanic-sounding names and obtaining false Hispanic identities, learning to speak Spanish and pretending to be Hispanic.”
