November 15, 2012 – How’s that freedom of speech working out for you folks in the UK? Oh wait, that’s the United States of America where freedom of speech is protected by our Constitution. Well, at least as long as you don’t piss off the Muslims with a stupid video that pokes fun of their pedophile prophet Muhammad. That poor guy is still in jail here.

LONDON (AP) — One teenager made offensive comments about a murdered child on Twitter. Another young

man wrote on Facebook that British soldiers should “go to hell.” A third posted a picture of a burning paper poppy, symbol of remembrance of war dead.

All were arrested, two convicted, and one jailed — and they’re not the only ones. In Britain, hundreds of people are prosecuted each year for posts, tweets, texts and emails deemed menacing, indecent, offensive or obscene, and the number is growing as our online lives expand.

Well damn! If I were living in London does that mean my freedom loving American ass would be in jail today for being so outspoken? Hey you, over there in the UK , must really suck to live under a government that is run by a bunch of snobbish little pricks. -JRoycroft

with 3 comments

October 31, 2011- Well it was just a matter of time before we would begin hearing negative reports about Presidential candidate Herman Cain. Now that Cain is a solid front runner, he has become the target of a major smear campaign. You can count on the Obamamedia to do everything it can to derail the Cain Train from now till 2012. The Democrats are running scared because they now understand that Herman Cain is Obama’s worst nightmare. Let the battle begin!

The American Dream: Ours or Obama’s?

OBAMA'S PLAN FOR AMERICA

Sept 20, 2011- In his speech yesterday Obama said “This is not class warfare, it’s math.”

Really?  Here’s a definition of class warfare we might use: “[T]he antagonism between the proletariat and the bourgeoisie is a struggle of class against class.”  That definition is from Karl Marx.  Obama is the one engaged in the antagonizing, pinning ailing seniors against wealthy Americans, pinning college hopefuls against corporate profits.

Nearly every day now we are hearing Obama engaged in his effort to demonize the wealthy Americans in his effort to recruit support from the moocher class.

John Drew, who wrote about meeting a young Barack Obama, at the time, Obama was coming to realize that he could have a better shot at a “revolution” if he went about through government and politics: “Whatever impact our encounter might have had on him, I know something about what Barack Obama believed in 1980. At that time, the future president was a doctrinaire Marxist revolutionary, although perhaps — for the first time — considering conventional politics as a more practical road to socialism.”

So what ever happened to the American Dream? Remember how once upon a time when we believed we all had the opportunity to work hard, earn a living, raise a family and make a better life for ourselves than our parents did?  In America, you can still become anything you want, so long as you work for it.  The opportunity is still there. It never left. If you listen to liberals you would think the concept of the American dream is fading away. Obama wants us to believe that we need him, we need government to help us in every facet of our lives. He wants us to believe that wealthy Americans are the enemy and they owe us a share of their lives.

If not for wealthy Americans, there would be no opportunity for jobs. When was the last time a poor person hired someone? Why do so many people feel the need to punish those who succeed, but then praise the mediocre or those who choose the path of least resistance? This is not the great, strong American idea that I was taught about in my childhood. We are turning from an American-idea of opportunity toward a Marxist-idea of opportunity.  From the Wall Street Journal …

Before 2007, Americans generally opposed higher taxes on the wealthy because they thought they would be wealthy too some day.

Not anymore.  One reason President Obama’s “Buffett Rule” (applied to those making $1 million or more a year) may be politically popular is that most voters no longer see themselves reaching the $1 million mark – let alone $1 million a year.

According to a new poll from the Associated Press and CNBC, 79% of Americans say it’s unlikely they’ll have $1 million or more in assets over the next 10 years. Fully 61% said it is “extremely” or “very difficult” to become a millionaire in the U.S. today…

What’s even more surprising is that the U.S. no longer leads the world in its hopes for upward mobility. Australians are more optimistic, though only slightly: 72% of them said it’s unlikely they’ll become millionaires.

Now we find ourselves in the middle of Obama’s American dream. His dream of creating a nation that is quickly sliding toward Marxism, whether we choose to believe it or not.

Those of us who still believe in our parents American dream must hold on to our great country. We must keep the faith. – J Roycroft

Weiner Goes Limp – Resigns Under Pressure

Anthony Weiner

June 16, 2011 - In case you haven’t heard, Anthony Weiner has given into all the pressure to resign. His decision came quickly after his little porn star texting friend, Ginger Lee, announced to the world that she hired attorney Gloria Allread to represent her in all matters relating to the congressman’s scandal.

Leave it to Gloria Allread to jump at what she does best – Getting her nose in the media at anyone’s expense. Kinda like Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson. They’re all media whores. We all have to make a living somehow.

In case you didn’t know – In the photograph, Gloria Allread is the media whore on the right. The whore on the left would be Ginger Lee.

I must also mention that, although the media is calling Ginger Lee a, “Porn Star,” she is here in Atlanta working as dancer in one of the low rate sleazy strip bars in an area of town that normal people stay away from at night. During the day it’s usually where the illegal Mexicans can be found hanging around waiting for a landscaping crew to gather them for cheap labor. It’s not exactly what you would call an upscale club. It’s the kinda place frequented mostly by truckers, creeps, and guys who can’t afford the nice downtown Atlanta clubs. I suppose she prefers the porn star title. I’m also sure it kept her Weiner happy.   Story from the Associated Press

Delaware Police are also investigating Weiner’s possible involvement with a 17 year old girl.

The sad note to this story – Now that Anthony Weiner has resigned, this means the Democrats will replace him with a more dangerous liberal that will have more power and influence.

Wisconsin Governor Threatens To Fire 12K State Workers!

Where’s the other sign that says “I’m a union teacher. I’m going to set an example for my students by throwing my sign on the ground and trashing the Capitol when I leave!”

February 20, 2011 – Today, Wisconsin Governor, Scott Walker, threatens to fire about 10,000-12,000 workers if changes aren’t made to the benefit contributions paid by Wisconsin’s nearly 300,000 public sector employees. This would be a strong  message to the unions that our system of government will not be manipulated by the likes of union goons. I commend Governor Walker for taking a stand against Obama’s union forces.

President Obama‘s group, Organizing for America, has bused in nearly 70,000 protesters outside the state capitol on Saturday, calling the bill “an assault on unions.”

Governor Walker told Obama he should stay focused on fixing the federal budget, which is $1.5 trillion in deficit this year. In other words-stay the hell out of Wisconsin’s business! The president’s plan, rolled out last week, proposes $1.65 trillion in deficits next year.

Governor Walker said, “If we’re going to be in this together, (cut) our $3.6 billion budget deficit, it’s going to take a whole lot more than just employee contributions when it comes to pensions and health care, but it’s got to be a piece of the puzzle because as I saw at the local level, it’s like a virus that eats up more and more of the budget if you don’t get it under control.”
