Being from the indelicate Land of Beans, I can attest that even though Mayor Menino might think he speaks for everyone in Boston, he would definitely never be heard from again if someone handed him a bag of free Chick-fil-A. The ensuing vacuum of his sucking down the chow might actually rip a hole in the atmosphere. For what it’s worth, our beloved mayor (who seems to know nothing of the concept of Free Speech except when he dribbles one of his unintelligible mumblings to a continually astonished public) is an unrepentant fathead who if he ever thought before he spoke it would be the first thought to ever emanate from that great fossilized skull of his.Unfortunately, this is nothing new as he has proven himself the enemy of business entering Boston more times than can be counted without an abacus which might account for the massive abandoned smoking crater right in the center of Boston’s retail district. (I’m not kidding.)

I’m not from Boston, don’t know about their mayor, but I do know this: They will face discrimination charges if they deny CFA building permits, or make it hard for them to obtain them based on a private citizen (who just happens to be a prez of a privately held corp.) giving a statement of his personal views on life. Not to mention charges against the city for objecting to someone exercising their first amendment rights. Go ahead Boston, make an ass of yourself. The country thinks the “Big Dig” is an embarassment? That will be nothing. Take heed Chicago and other cities contemplating similar actions. I’m sure that CFA has deep, deep pockets. J.
