Union City Georgia: White Police Officer Target Of Racial Tensions

with 4 comments

June 8, 2012 – In Georgia we have a controversy going on over the killing of a 19 year old thug by a Union City police officer. Officer Luther Lewis was cleared of any wrong doing last week by a grand jury in the killing of 19 year old Ariston Waiters after he tried to take the officers gun during a struggle back in December.

Officer Lewis happens to be white, and guess what – Waiters is black. So now Waiters family, the black community and this idiot, Georgia Senator Vincent Fort (D – Atlanta) are trying desperately to get a conviction on officer Lewis. Senator Fort has hand-delivered a letter to the U.S. Attorney’s Office Wednesday requesting a federal investigation into the shooting death of Ariston Waiters. It isn’t good enough that the state has cleared the officer, now they have to get the feds involved.
By the way, Senator Fort is the same jerk that tried so hard to stop the execution of  Troy Davis, who was convicted of murdering an off-duty Savannah police officer more than 20 years ago. He was un-successful. Troy Davis was executed. Good!

Waiters was shot twice in the back. Lewis said he had no choice because Waiters grabbed his weapon.
Officer Lewis’ attorney, Al Dixon said, “Ariston Waiters’ DNA was on the officer’s gun. And not DNA from blood or splatter or anything like that, but from cell DNA, which means that he had actually grabbed the officer’s gun.”

Officer Lewis told a CBS Atlanta reporter, “I did not get out of bed that morning to find Ariston Waiters to shoot him. I did not come to work that day to change my life forever.” .

Waiters’ supporters called Lewis a “murderer” and said he racially-profiled.

“Some of his DNA was on the gun. That was probably placed there. It don’t even make sense.” said Waiters’ mom, Freda Waiters.

State Senator Vincent Fort (D- 39th District) led the delegation of supporters who delivered a letter to the U.S. Attorney requesting a civil rights investigation.

“We have to ask ourselves, does the constitution apply to everybody, every place in the state of Georgia? Does it apply in Union City? Does the U.S. Constitution apply to Ariston Waiters and his family?” asked Fort.

Yes you asshole, it does apply to everyone including black thugs – and if the feds investigate they will find the officer innocent and you can go pound sand until another opportunity of race card throwing pops up. Better yet you jerk, why not head down to Sanford, Florida and join those race whores down there with that Trayvon Martin bullshit.

For the record – Officer Luther Lewis has a spotless record with the Union City Police Dept.

On a personal note – I support this fine officer and I am confident he will be completely cleared of these accusations. I also hope that officer Lewis fully recovers from his emotional roller coaster and continues to be a law enforcement officer. It’s unfortunate that because of a culture of violence that exists in the black community the first response to any police incident is automatically against the police officer. No matter how obvious the circumstances are, the police officer will always be put to blame. It’s never the perpetrators fault. There’s always a damn excuse for why the bad guy took the bullet or got arrested. Never accepting responsibility for ones own mistakes or choices. But when you need help, you never hesitate to call them. The police will come to your drunken domestic issues, your baby daddy bullshit and all the rest of the dis-functional crap you live in. Absolutely no one deals with as much heartache and tragedy on a daily basis as do police officers. How they put up with all your shit is beyond me. I suppose it’s because they love their job. They truly dedicate themselves to helping others, yet they never expect or even ask for a thank you in return. That police officer, no matter how much you despise him, will be the first person to step in front of a bullet to save your life if need be.

THE ROYCROFT REPORT thanks all those fine law enforcement agencies for all they do. God Bless you all.
